Vacant Home Staging: Tips for Selling a House in 2022, small & awkward spaces
Melissa Marro, Executive Director (CEO) at Vintage Bee Design, LLC has been one of the premier stagers in North America for the past 15 years. Today, she takes us along with her during a live vacant house preview. After viewing each space and discussing what needs to be done with it, and why, she then shows what it looks like after staging. We would love to get your feedback on the process and what you think about the transformation.
Home Staging Tips for Selling a House in 2022
Each room in the home has a different set of priorities. Generally speaking, however, they revolve around the space feeling large, comfortable, and functional, for its intended purpose.
Small & Awkward spaces require home staging to maximize interest
What happens if the house you need to sell has unusual or awkward spaces in the floorplan? If buyers don't know what to do with a space, then they are very likely to pass on the property, rather than try to decide what it could be used for.
It is important that very little be left to the imagination of today's home buyer. Instead, they want a clear outline of exactly how the house should be set up, and lived in. This is what will make a difference in selling quickly, or sitting on the market, with an unsold property.
